More shame from gals who can't get dates. They'll keep their porn and video games over the mess of dating you. GD, I bet that hurts like a son-of-a..... LOL

Terrible article.

My gf is more into video games than I am, we both enjoy them. I could care less about porn, it's not all that interesting.

Yes there are many studies and headlines that push to keep both men and women in a position to where they must act accordingly or suffer the wrath of "status quo".

Its a simple rule don't harm yourself or harm others then there is nothing wrong with it.

There is a fine line between having an opinion and projecting everyone else to comply with them. Many will probably find issue with what you said but sense you speak for yourself and not others I have no issue with it.

The video games thing is a bit childish though.

Women won't go out with "said" guy.

Then they want to p*ss and moan about him taking care of some lonely feelings inside of him too?

You're right, what's this Country coming to.......
Video games are childish?? But books, music & tv shows are not? Would you let a 5 year old child watch Ful Metal Jacket? You do realize there is a difference between Super Mario Bros & Mortal Kombat don't you? Its like saying Barney is the same as Entourage. Seriously people all video games were not created for children & are great entertainment.

didn't bother reading the article, but IMHO even porn and video games have a limit to their appeal and entertainment and you reach a point of wanting real human interaction. If a guy can't put it down, it's fairly pathetic human existence IMHO.

LMAO. I almost couldnt get to the article because the pic showed the guys using Nintendo 64 controllers. LMAO. How old is that? From like the 1930s or something and they are trying to imply that guys today are like this? Wait, let me go dig up my grandfather and ask him about his Nintendo 64. LMAO. They could have at least used a photo from 2010 or so. Instead of that, really 1988 Nintendo photo. Hilarious.

Porn and video games - love them both. Will ALWAYS love them both. Neither affects me or my life negatively. Love the porn and video games, ooooh ooooh oooooh, especially love porn IN my video games. Now THATS what Im talking about. Grand Theft Auto "Hot Coffee" sex mod, Skyrim nude mods, etc. Awesome!!

Agree, complete nonsense. It's like those soccer moms back in the 80s who thought DnD was initiating kids into a cult of Satan. Alarmist claptrap.

If this is news, CNN is at least three decades late.

Well, I know two women who went out with, and are still with, two gamers (who were brothers). Not all gamers or the women who love them fit the stereotype.

Hmmmmm.....okay. Which media outlet isn't?

Not all. The most complex and mentally challenging tend to be the least known, at least to those types of video game players portrayed in the article.

Any woman I've ever dated (including my wife) learns quite early on in our relationship that I am a gamer. If she tries to change this, has negative views on it, or anything other than "Okay, I understand", means she's being kicked to the curb (as the kids say). My wife knows not to bother me if Im playing Free For All or Ground War in Call of Duty, or if Im about to sleigh a dragon priest in Skyrim. She just lets me have that time for ME. She has the green light to approach me though at any time regarding porn.
