I agree. Also don't over-imbibe or hurl. No cheesy bar magic or pickup lines. Talk a bit to someone before buying them a drink. Too many guys just stumble up to women with a drink offer. This is refreshing especially if you witness a few guys crash and burn and you follow with a different conversation starter. If there's a jukebox, Play similar music that had a positive visible reaction from the crowd. For example if they were playing the Doors, Play something like Bob Seeger or Blue Oyster cult, Not Justin Beiber Or Cannibal corpse. Stand out over the other guys and you are already ahead of the game. Go looking for a nice night out to not have the usual "guy scanning crowd" look. Tip the bartender well, This shows class and he or she can give you a scoop on the scene that night. The Bartender can be a great ally. And always leave before last call.
