Don't joke about that crap, one of my friends was talking with his mom on the phone several years ago, when his mom crashed into a car. Luckily she was alive, but she did have a minor concussion.

The difference between me and her is that I don't pull nasty pranks like this.
I had a womanfriend do this once because she was questioning her long term boyfriends commitment. He flipped out, threatened her, told her she had to have an abortion, and if she didn't agree that he would drug her and do it himself or he'd leave her and the kid never to return.
She broke up with him pretty much immediately. Messed up trick? Abso-freakin-lutely. In the long run though, I'd say she came out ahead.
