If a girl wants to come see your place, is that a good sign?

Your apartment /room will be scrutinized either way. And reported back to others in details of being 'dateable material'. Meaning hygiene, hospitality, material wealth, and such.

In case you feel comfortable with the gal and your pad, DON'T APPROACH HER on that first visit! You can only win by being polite and organized. Meaning you can later on always tell with some credibility that you just had a (female) friend over, hung with one, without having sex.

That'll go a long way in a relationship. Having sex on her first visit, she would suspect you doing the same with any other female when the situation comes up.

You can waste a lot of time reading into what someone says. Maybe she was just being polite. Maybe she wants to be alone with you at your place.

No way of knowing.

Invite her over, buy some chinese food, insist on using chopsticks (in order to give dinner in a rented room in a basement a sense of adventure). It could turn out to be a nice dinner with a friend or it could lead to the squeeking of bed springs.
