Actually if you dated him for money, it probably would be better. People assume people date old people for money, because there is no other good reason to date an old man.

Think about this. In 15 years you will be 46 and he will be 83. You will end up becoming his personal assistant. That is the time when your kids have gotten older, and you can travel more and explore new things.

So even if you thought he was perfect, I would be skeptical. But he is not perfect at all, and you divorced your ex husband to meet this guy. It is just messed up. Please leave this old man, and use some to think about what you want to do with your life.

Life is unpredictable and often unreasonable and cruel. I learned not to worry about what woukd happen 10 years from now. I might get hit by a bus next week. I learned to enjoy if not every single day, but at least most days. And if I don't have to stop on a red light and it turns green for me I catch myself saying "thank you". Life is full of little pleasures we often don't notice, but if we do it becomes so much brighter!
So being there for him in 10-15 years wouldn't scare me a bit if I knew I mean the world to him and I'm his everything, but being there for someone who puts themselves first and shuts the door in front of your face when you're in crisis.... Neah, why bother?

That is what I would like to hear you answer...why are you bothering to waste your life like this? Learn the lessons well and it sounds like it is past time to move on.

Good luck and don't look back once you walk away from this
