FB & CD? Must be really bad. Sounds like a short.
I probably would have taken it to a puter shop to see if the hard disk could be removed and back it up that way.
Did the fact that I said there were flames not give it away? LOL
Yeah, not sure what it was but I was really flippin' mad last night. I swore up and down, woke his ass up...
uggh...it was not pretty. I can be a super ***** sometimes.

Meh, some people exaggerate, but since you posted twice it appears it wasn't the case.
So, is it fixed, dead, or are you pushing your luck?

No...LOL...but that's funny. I told my co-workers my computer was on fire and they thought I was exaggerating too. I literally was blowing out the damn flames.
I haven't turned it on again. I blew out the flames, prayed it would stay on long enough to get my plans and report cards and other school files and then shut it down. I should have taken the pictures off too but I figured at least I can still get the off if the whole damn thing didn't go up in flames. It was contained to the right corner of the computer by the screen.
I had to take the battery out because it kept sparking and I was afraid it would start a fire overnight. Then I stuck it in the garage, which, in hindsight probably wasn't the best idea but it was either that or the wood deck....
Anyway, he's out tonight. I have commandeered my son's computer for now so I can at least get my work done.

It has been a ****ty, ****ty few weeks.
I guess you forgot about the tactic that motivated him to get your watch fixed.
I don't think I would risk putting the battery back in because one more short and you might lose it all.

Yeah, I did forget about that! Funny as soon as I mentioned the solution he hopped right on it, literally a few minutes.
