on the one hand, the media is constantly hammering into our heads the image of skinny white women as the perfect ideal of feminine beauty, but on the other even very plain looking women can get laid very easily with guys that are a good bit more attractive than themselves. i'm not basing this statement off of just the article linked to, but on something i (and countless others) have observed directly.
why, then, are so many women STILL so insecure about their bodies? the amount of validation you get from men on a daily basis is more than what most men can hope to enjoy in a year. what makes you so insecure?
My now ex boyfriend broke up with me over the weekend because he just didn't find me 'physically attractive'. He said he tried (for the past 8 months apparently) to make himself attracted to me because we got along so well, but couldn't lie to me anymore.
So yeah, plenty of men only judge on a woman's physical appearance and that will never change. Lucky for that woman that she's getting laid while she's fat and 40....good for her.
