And yes, everyone is allowed to have their preferences, as has been discussed *ad nauseam* on this forum.
So guys, explain to me rejecting a woman as too heavy - without ever having met her or interacted with her - when, relatively speaking, he is heavier than she is?
I've seen that example many times before where a guy completely dismisses his own physical shortcomings and criticizes women a'la "shallow Hal" lol
If he's wealthy, famous or funny enough hell find girls out here that will look past his looks, unfortunately the inverse doesn't often work for women.
He wants to be inspired by someone who is healthier than he is. If he is with someone who is equally as unhealthy in his eyes, she may drag him further into his own shortcomings.
If she is more like an ideal, he may be inspired to be a "better" version of himself.

Easy. Because the man in question is a mean-spirited, clueless hypocrite. Or, as most people prefer to put it, "it's just a preference."

I'm a heavy person myself. I think I have the right to feel some physical attraction to anyone I date. Now I'm realistic, I know I'm not going to get a girl who looks like Tyra Banks in the 90s. I like heavier women but still I have got to feel some physical attraction. It is what it is.

So you wouldn't even bother to meet with someone, regardless of shared interests, if you didn't like the way she looked in some pictures?
I have no illusions about how I look. I also know what I am doing to make changes, but changes are not immediate. I just had surgery Monday, so give me a minute to get back on the treadmill.
I would just like to think that two educated, intelligent people with an abundance of shared interests should be willing to take a chance and get to know each other like real human beings, not pre-judge. Foolish me.
