Some advice I got recently was too smile more. The problem is that I have a bad smile. It resembles Mr. Bean's smile. And yes, he has a bad smile.

LOL. I believe Mr. Bean's smile is soooo adorable. But then I again I love Mr. Bean. He is just sooo funnily out of this world.

How much do you like the lady who said you should smile more? If it's a lot, smile more. There are probably things about your smile that you can't see, but others can.

A smile says something good about your personality.

I don't recommend a false smile, which can be a little bit creepy, but don't suppress a smile just because you think your smile is "bad". If it is appropriate to smile, then smile.

I enjoy Mr Bean and had never noticed anything odd about his smile. So, I had to go and look, and his smile looks a bit odd because he never shows his teeth. He keeps his top lip tight and down over his teeth.

If your teeth are bad, OP, go in and get them fixed. That's a great big confidence booster, all by itself.

If your teeth are fine and you just have a tight upper lip, then be aware that people don't notice it as much as you think they do. I've watched Mr Bean and I like that show where he is the police officer and I never noticed that his smile looks odd.

I suspect that you are worrying too much. Stop worrying about how your smile looks and enjoy life more.

You should not smile more simply because you have been told to. A fake put on smile is uglier than anything you think is wrong with the smile you do have now.

But having said that you should not smile LESS because you do not like your own smile.

You should smile - or not smile - for its own sake. Not because of what you think other people think of it.

If you feel like smiling DO. If you do not DONT. Be true to yourself.

I don't think that OP's goal is to be more adorable and funnily. He probably wants to be more sexy and desireable.

Mr. Bean is awesome.

Anyway, this is probably just an esteem issue. The gf sounds nice...

OP, listen to your gf and do as the woman says =p
