I am realistic. I am a 5 at best, there is no way I would approach a woman who is a 7 or higher even if I was attracted to her. It's a rejection waiting to happen. Most women are out of my league and that is why I have never approached one. Enough about me. Do you believe in leagues?
I think that insofar as leagues exist at all, they do so mainly for very young people in search of hook ups, and mostly in venues like nightclubs and bars where looks are the main, if not the sole, criteria that matters. Leagues get pretty meaningless as people grow older, as they interact more often in venues that allow them to get to know each other better.

YESSS! OP, if someone were to force you to try to get a date while wearing shackles, you'd consider it an outrage, a grave injustice. Yet you've imposed shackles on yourself.
All kinds of unlikely couples get together. I know a guy from Latin America who only has 5th-grade education, though he's bright, and a really good guy. He met and married a woman from the US who has an MA in engineering. They're now living happily ever after in the US. I have many more examples of that sort of thing.
Liberate yourself from your shackles today! Open yourself up to serendipity. You never know around which corner love may be lurking. All you have to do is get to that corner. Those shackles would make it a lot harder to get there, though.
