Here in Orlando, single men outnumber single women at least 4:1
I find that very hard to believe. I realize it may "feel" that way to you, but unless you have data, I'm going to call B.S.
You'd have to be in a remote oil field or Alaskan fishing village to find a sex ratio that skewed. It's almost unheard of.
More likely, if it's even skewed at all, it's something like 55/45 or maybe 60/40 in an extreme case. Even that would be enough to be quite noticeable in the dating market.
According to census data, 51% of Orlando's population is women. So if there is only 1 single woman for every 4 single men, what happened to the other 3+ single women?
There isn't Ruth. The OPs observations are incorrect, viewed through skewed eyes.
