If he said it on a first date yea creepy thing to say on a first date or even 2nd . Down the road and been dating for a few months not so creepy.

Yeah, what he meant was that "He would treat my girlfriend as a princess, treat her like his family member."

This guy is very very sweet. But my girlfriend is really awesome too, and they deserve each other. It is nice to see happy endings.
