Maybe she's trying to help you? What is the pic like, are you far away, wearing hat and sunglasses? I wanted to write a guy once to help him, his picture looked like a serial killer's mug shot because of the expression on his face. It is possible she's trying to give you helpful advice.

With a response like that? People can be helpful, sure, but they don't phrase things that make them sound like #$(@##!@#!.

Truth. That's not "helping." That's being a jacka$$.

I never said she wasn't rude in how she went about it, but OP is asking what she might be motivated by. Also it really is to tell context in e-mail as we can't hear tone of voice. It's possible it came out wrong in print.

IMO she was being insensitive even if she were right.

A better man doesn't respond to a heckler, he walks away instead.

I'll be better next time.

She appears to be a very attractive small woman, wise "guy" droll or deadpan expression, in shape, very well dressed with a stylish flair in her rakishly tilted hat, very intelligent and a professional but she's been on the same single forums for years, her pictures don't seem to age much or change, obviously she's not getting what she wants from OLD unless she's a player looking for quick anonymous dates which I doubt.

I felt angry at the moment I read her letter but I don't live in anger.
Nah, unless you look like you just mowed the lawn or got off a lobster boat, I'm sure you're fine.

But... women still wear house dresses?

Yep, I was lying on some pillows, the top one looked a little yellow.

I don't know if that were her problem but I changed the picture.

Yep, I'm an older man, she's an older woman but she's a fashion plate and giving off a younger appearance. A few more casual women put pictures up of themselves in house dresses.

Keep moving.
