But married people can - and do - indulge in many of the things mentioned.
Do you get to leave stuff all over one side of your big ol' king size bed, like magazines and your cell phone and books?

I definitely love being single more than being in a relationship. Relationships always start out nice, but after the honeymoon period, becomes burdensome. I'm a hermit, and am not super social. So if you're with a person that likes to attend every single freaking social, family, work event.. life is hell. And is it really that hard to remember not to put your dirty soiled socks on the kitchen table. Just things that become EH after time. I'm a big fan of living separately in a relationship. Duplexes would be an awesome option.

Another reason I like being alone is because I want to be able to think however I want without being criticized.

The freedom is the best part of being single and that really stands out for me, but I still feel it's not better than being in a relationship, but that's just my opinion.

LOL!
You can do that when you are married, also... unless you married a mind-reader!
Do you even believe they exist? I don't!

If someone expresses openly what they think about some people, his wife or girlfriend will get all offended and accuse him of stereotyping.
