We watched the walking dead premiere episode and man, it was intense...... I think that they are sorting pushing the line of good taste a little much.... that opening scene where they are all lined up at the trough.....crazy stuff.

We have been getting some rain/storms tonight I think. I haven't looked at the weather. I guess I should take a look at it.

There were tornados here a few years ago. We are at the bottom of a hill so no damage by us. Not so lucky at the top of our street and other parts of the town/neighborhood.

We're in this wind/rain pattern which, sucks because it knocks the leaves off the trees before having a chance to turn colors.

Same here.
Careful out there. Be aware of the shelters present in the event a tornado takes place during class time. NWS says that the most likely timings are late morning near Raleigh. Here is the met office data:

I had some good time using the fuzzy cuddly blanket back home. Left all my warm stuff up north. All I have for cooler weather here are hoodies.

We don't watch a whole lot of TV either, but we got into breaking bad. The walking dead probably isn't as good as breaking bad, but it's right up there. If you aren't into zombie show/movies, then of course this isn't for you. But all that aside, it's got some pretty good characters that are interesting.

Watching Walter White slide down into the less pleasant sides of humanity was crazy at times, the last season he got really dark...... a long way away from being a high school chemistry teacher.

I watched the first season of the Walking Dead, but I couldn't get into it any further because the show is just a stone-cold bummer all the time. You just sit there waiting for the next messed-up scary violent thing to go down. I guess I've become a softie in my old age.

I did just start watching the X-Files from the beginning on Netflix. I loved that show, but I hadn't watched it since it was on when I was in college. It's still great, and I would climb Agent Mulder like a tree.
