I suppose I'd have to wire my garage for 220 though. Right?
You'd have to pull 2 120 volt circuits.......

Like Mrs. Chow's dad the electrician has said over the years.. Electricity like the ocean, it is terribly unforgiving.........
Electricity can fry a mother f er in a sec....... It can scare the bejeesus out of a fella....

No kidding. Usually with 220 you're right two legs, like a waterheater, dryer or electric stove. A 50 amp breaker is standard.

Hmm. I wonder how much of a ***** it would be to yank those through the underground conduit to the garage.

Big enough conduit it's easy. Sharp bends make it difficult.

What's coming up through the garage floor doesn't look very big. I have no idea what the bends are like underground, either.
I guess I'd just have to seriously grease up my cable. lol

I'd use a fish tape to run the conduit. It might be a two person job. One feeding it in and the other pulling.

Turn the circuit off and have someone feed the wire and another pull it... this is standard electrician ****...
If a circuit can be turned off, do it... I've gone through about a100 hundred hours of safety training in this regard.
Most of the time it's home retards that screw around and get in trouble and wind up in the hospital.....
Just don't lick your fingers and stick them in the wall outlet......
