Tonight it's meat sauce pasta and low carb spaghetti.... Mrs. Chow is gonna pass on that and have some French bread pizza.

Short sweet and simple.

aaannnnddd..........every dish I used was "Corelle" except for the dessert glasses those were actually stemmed water glasses and the glass coffee cups and saucers....LMAO

We are so formal around here....LOL
Wow. Sounds really nice, CSD.

Why do some insist on painting over perfectly beautiful wood. Beautiful wood does not scream to be painted.
This is a rhetorical question for the most part.

Sea, it really was very nice and if I remember correctly I did that on Easter Sunday this year.
It was a very nice change from our normal steaks, boiled potatoes or meatloaf or pot roast for Sunday supper when we have guests.

Actually, I also had a cheese and cracker plate set out before I started serving our meal.

I like bare wood, too (lol).

I forgot to say that I love mint, too. My favorite Thai salad I'm always ranting about has mint in it, and I make my own version at home a lot, too.

Sea,

I think I made sugar free banana cream pudding for Mr. CSD and our guests but I had regular vanilla, they are diabetic and I am not.
Anyway, I put whipped topping in the bottom of the glass, slices of fresh banana, the pudding, more slices of banana, whipped topping, a couple more slices of banana and a sprig of mint.

It really was quite lovely and just made the day a wee bit more special for us and our guests.
I even had a center piece on the table before I started serving our meal.

It tastes good with some layers of Vanilla Wafers, in between the pudding & bananas layers, too.

This right here is the deal... great for low carb diets and diabetics alike.

Tastes just like the original and even Mrs. Chow agrees.... she's a stickler for diet foods and doesn't eat any of it.....
