Where did you meet your spouse of the opposite sex of you? I only say straight couples only for data reasons , I am not against gay people at all! Where did you meet your spouse, and how old were each of you?
Technically hiking with a group of friends but the mutual friends were from our college church group. We both had just walked away from crazy party days and ended up finding each other at just the right time.
She would come visit her Dad and I was friends with him. We were LDR and phone pals for awhile then she started flying to FL to visit me. The last time she flew to FL she said she wished she could take me home with her. I said I wish I could go. So I did.
Personally I have never been married, but this post reminded me of a former co worker about 15 years ago (who I found very attractive but she was married). Once in a moment of light conversation non work related with a small group of co workers she related how she met her husband. They were both at gas station and met while filling their respective autos! He approached her.

They are atypical. Interpersonal issues prevent them from being in relationships and they have neglected to seek intervention for them. A lot of them don't care.

It's more like you are just supposed to live your live to the fullest and BE OPEN to all it presents to you - that's when you'll be most likely to meet "the one".
