I think with one-sided crushes, or rejections before even 1 date, or even hang out, raises the doubt about attractiveness.

Here's a thought for a lot of people: Loosen your list of Must-Haves in another person. Having a short list excludes more possible mates. Are you going to exclude brunettes because your prefer blondes? Is hair color that important in the grand scheme if things? Exactly what IS important?
