I've dated a few fellow psychologists, and fellow psych grad students when I was in my doctoral program. I didn't find them to be either universally fun or universally not fun. They were different people with different personalities, as you'd expect. I wouldn't rule out dating them, but I wouldn't specifically seek them out, either.
Agreed. There are really cool people in my program, as well as ultra-annoying people in my program. I'm pretty sure they'd be that way whether they were getting graduate degrees in psychology, graduate degrees in business, or what have you.
I'm not so sure I would. I'm afraid every argument we would have would be tinged with some kind of "clinical" analysis or some other "observations"
LOL, you're being observed and analyzed all the time whether or not you're with a psychologist! It's what people do, observe and analyze. Pretty much every single conversation anybody ever has about relationships spells that out, loud and clear!
Sure, if we were compatible in many areas, including chemistry. I think it would be really fun, honestly. Psychology is one of my favorite disciplines.
