Really? What's the big deal then? It's not like he didn't know it was a possibility then.

People need to drop the she's trying to ring in the guy by getting married argument. He's a grown man, he showed up to the party without any rubbers, no one forced him to have unprotected sex with her. People get preggers when you don't strap up, end of story.

If you are going to have a persistent FWB, you should probably be on birth control or have an IUD

Not telling the guy is irresponsible

Chow,

I agree that he's just as responsible for this pregnancy as she is, but if you think she honestly wasn't trying to trap this dude into a relationship, I've got a waterfront condo in the desert that I'd love to sell you.

She said back there somewhere that she'd been told she couldn't get pregnant. I bet she told him that and he believed it. I've known too many women who tried to manipulate guys into relationships by "suddenly" becoming pregnant.

All of them are divorced now, btw. If the relationship wasn't a solid one before the pregnancy, odds are very small that it'll turn into one. Babies, cute as they are, are stressors.

Good luck. How old are you?

Did they doctor tell you that you MIGHT not be able to have children or was it a complete, certain diagnosis?

All your threads, literally, STRESS me out.

WOMEN, USE BIRTH CONTROL. PLEASE. LOOK WHAT HAPPENS.

I give it a month before we see a follow-up thread about single parenthood and welfare.

Maybe you're right, IDK.... I have a tendency to assume people don't have nefarious intentions.

I think it's also called naivety.

Oh he's just as responsible (or irresponsible)... but that doesn't preclude this girl from trying to trap him. She set him up like a bowling pin and now the child is going to suffer.
