Well…if he’s dating her, sitting in a man’s lap does not mean he’s not respectable. It takes 2 to tango. Tho ITA it probably means he isn’t gay & it is not platonic.^^

I don't recall having the lap-sleep combo, but have had the sleeping couple/few times, and not gay. We were already good friends and there were no other sleeping quarters. It wouldn't necessarily be uncommon in mixed-gender friend groups. Yes, this was all around college age or shortly before/after when no one was married.
