I had a guy tell me this. We were interested in dating each other. And that subject came up. I didn't know what to think. I'm not religious and he was so had a gut feeling that weren't going to be compatible, I ended it. That was one of the issues I had with him that it wasn't gonna work out. It sucks because it's rare to get a man interested in going out with me
So what? I mean, a lot of couples feel this way about different things, and end it knowing its not going to work out. Jesus just seems to be your reason.

Hell yeah! I'd definitely haul a*& if I heard that line.
Would I "run for the hills"? Nah. I'm not a fan of blowing simple incompatibility out of proportion. A simple "thanks but no thanks" is usually very sufficient.
I got surprised with this by a guy once. I was really into him. About a month after we met, he said "Jesus does not want me to have sex with you" I told him he should have mentioned that BEFORE we had sex!
The sex was great. I was really disappointed. We kept seeing each other for a while because I was hoping he'd get over it. but no luck. A few years later he moved back to town and I hired him to redo my bathroom. He was hoping we could hook up (He'd left the church that gave him this Jesus message) but I was so over him by then.
I also thought it interesting that Jesus did not seem to care that he borrowed my car when he had temporarily lost his plates due to non-payment of insurance. then took the plates off mine and put them on his (illegal) after I told him not to! That was the end of that.
I have since learned to avoid anyone who mentions Jesus or church attendance in his profile. I really do respect those who walk the walk, but most cannot relate to me and I'm just not ever going to be one of them.
