Would you ever make your OLD profile pic with an elderly or child relative?

I stay away from women with those photos, unless they write something in their profile compelling enough to message them. An online dating photo is a somewhat undignified use of a person's image, and I'm sure most elderly would object to it. And children? Let's not even go there! It triggers lots of men's fear of being forced into a father situation. Not to mention putting the children in harm's way by posting their photo online. But if those people's faces are blurred then no problem. It shows both closeness to family and respect for their privacy.

This. Not only for OLD, but for social media as well.

People are far too careless about what they share online. They post pictures of their kids with school uniforms or even the name of the school on their t-shirts. This is Stranger Danger 101 stuff.

As for OLD and the dating aspect of it, I don't need to know what your kid looks like yet. We haven't met. I want to know about YOU. If you're the type of person who has no personality outside your kid, we aren't going to work.

Nope - looks like they're using the other person as a "prop" so they look better somehow.
