There have been several polls done here over the years on the numbers of partners.
Several people were into the many hundreds and a few were into a few thousand.
Someone's "number" might be among the most over analyzed topics discussed on this forum. We frequently have threads which make all kinds of assumptions, opinions, and judgements, about people and what their number may be.
Yet, in real life, the majority of people have no idea about someone's number, nor do they care. It's almost entirely a non issue.
7-8 is can easily be done in one year once you start high school (not that I would know ). Its been my experience, that a lot of young women are naïve, impressionable and want to be accepted at that age/ perfect opportunity for a smart young man with confidence and a ferocious game. And it only gets better in college.
Sure, it CAN be accomplished the year you turn 13 but it's not likely and I'd guess that there's a relatively small subset of high schoolers for whom this holds true.

But it's VERY common among college kids, and that's only a couple of years later. So it's not uncommon at all to find a 20 year old with a lot of partners.
