I would say it's having a "bad sense of humour", meaning the person can't figure out when it's a good time (or subject) to joke about, and when to be serious. Or if they know someone is sensitive about a particular issue, insist on making jokes to that person about that subject, and can't figure out why they aren't seen as humourous.
Being afraid and not dealing with it at least somewhat effectively. I think it's the emotion that when unchecked is behind so many of the dating ills that get discussed here.
From my observations these are ALWAYS the guys going, "I can't get a date...why?"
Women run...run...run from this attitude like the plague. We can sense it even if you're trying to cover it. It's a certain edge to the voice, a look in the eyes...it really just broadcasts itself.
I think if people are too picky. I get that it's good to have standards, but sometimes people are swinging for the fences on too many things, we have to sometimes accept that people have limitations, again, doesn't mean aiming too low, just more realistic.
Saw a thread just recently where a guy who didn't have much to offer in himself, yet he had a pretty substantial check list in a woman. I'm like, good luck with that one fella. Hope you like cats.
That's actually realistic. There's always gonna be someone who dislikes you and sometimes will dislike you for no reason. Sounds crappy, but it happens.
People who believe they are owed certain personality traits out of members of the opposite sex.
