Man... I tell ya, the inmates are running the asylum.

I was looking into getting a t-shirt made up that said "Journalism is dead" I think I'm going to have to add another that says "Rational thought is dead"

The stuff I'm seeing around me, mostly online, just crazy things. The lunacy of some people and some of the extremely bizarre thought patterns some people have. The online smear campaigns and social media wars are just a complete joke.

Rational discourse really appears to be on the major decline.

That always surprises me when I look at the Politics board on City Data. It's not a bunch of reasonable people having a rational, spirited, and civil discussion about politics, even if they disagree. The whole of the board is just mudslinging by a group of tin-foil-hat-wearing bigots of all stripes. The fact that these are real people walking amongst us is sobering.

There are some vile and frankly disgusting people on the forum. I dabble over there, but I tell you, rational thought over there must be on a some kind of limited budget because so many can't have a fact based rational non-argumentative discussion. Not naming names here but about 3 or 4 people there should have been banned a long long time ago. They are able to skirt under the banning by being careful of what they say, but still get their points across. I've noticed that before, most of the time I get my paws slapped by a mod is because I've used cursed words. My content wasn't disgusting vile filled drivel, but I lost it and used profanity. Some of those people are "smarter" than me in that regard.

LOL

LOL, yeah, that along with Brut33 still brings on memories of watching my dad get ready for work, he'd slap that on himself then he would slap a little of it on my cheeks. LOL.

That's from way way back.

Yeah...something about it...like the person wearing it can be trusted. Funny how smells can have an effect on our mood. Loves Baby Soft makes me happy, my sister and I always gave it to each other for Xmas.
I hate sandalwood, it seems like I've heard it covers up the smell of weed, so when someone at work is wearing it, I get annoyed! It's probably not even true, I do anyway.
