Did you get any good pictures, though? No sense going all the way home just because you were uncomfortable, right?

Being soaked to nearly the waist, soaked feet, etc in close to freezing temps wasn't something I wanted to toy with, so, no, I bailed and came home. Going to go do laundry and run on at the gym. Oh well.

Just got home and showered, damn cold drive. My lens seems to be fine, but my wrist is not. I think lifting and power missionary are out of the question for a few days.
Mate!!!! Glad you're not seriously injured.

Screw the gym - if I'd had the same slip on ice, plunging into water, I'd spend three days under the ultra weight goose down comforter, dressed up to my neck in flannel pajamas with three pairs of socks on!

Sometimes there's nothing better than being under a pile of blankets in a dark room. Woke up late and laid in bed for an hour under that pile before getting up.

WITH a shot (or several) of LaRoux's blackberry brandy. That warms the tummy quite nicely. (Hoping that it doesn't start a big discussion about alcohol not warming a body.)

I will be moving boxes and your garden-variety stuff tomorrow, so I may not sign in.

I hope everyone stays safe, surrounds themselves with people they love and creates good memories. Appreciate the people who are important to you & TELL them.

Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays
