Rain here today. Yay!

Hope all of you are doing very well and staying healthy. My G'babies returned from their month long trip to Alabama so the house is back to the noisy usual chaos! LOL

It's looking like it wants to rain where I'm at, haven't seen it rain yet. Forecast shows 70% chance, so we'll see I guess.

It's just the two of us but we live in a fairly large condo complex and the street we live on has duplexes across the street. It's a small street but man, lots of people coming and going. Fed ex and Amazon trucks all day, trash pickup three times a week, gardeners all over the place.

Plenty of noise here, even without grandkids running around us.

We got a decent amount of rain over the last 24 hours, even have snow on the mountains closest to our house at about 6000 ft. Enough wind where all of our trees are now bare. Once it dries out we will go round up all the leaves and either compost or burn them.

It rained for a bit, then stopped. Bummer.

Oh, I have noise here too, but the G'babies being gone was very weird.

Yeah, we finally got it. Just sort of really slowed down a while ago. Looks like it will be gone by tommorrow.

We got more than 6 inches of rain in Sacramento yesterday, which might not be that impressive in Southern Oregon, but to put that rainfall in comtext here, it was about 80% of what we got all last year.

6 inches is pretty impressive for Sac. Southwest Oregon hasn't gotten a great deal of rain in the last 3 lustrum, or so. We get a lot of sunshine though...

I know that not everyone gets Paid Time Off, and I know it’s a good thing. I “get” PTO, but frankly, it means nothing when the manager won’t approve it. At this point, I feel as though she is trying to show that she’s in control. And I guess she is.

“6 inches is pretty impressive.”

That’s what she said.
