This is no big deal. I like girls feet too, but mostly only if they're smaller and I do really like a girl's feet more if she has a tan/olive complexion. Not too into pale feet, at least not as much.
Most girls aren't going to get freaked out by this, but I've noticed that some are very insecure about their feet. They might be insecure if their feet tend to sweat a lot or get gross. I'm one of those people that my feet are one of the last places to sweat on me. I can be out walking for miles in 90 something degree heat and humidity and will be sweating from everywhere but my feet. Even when I was overweight, my feet rarely broke a sweat. Sometimes if I'm really nervous they'll slightly perspirate.
One girl used to hide her feet from me and would basically sit on them, so I couldn't see them haha. She was insecure with them. So it got to a point where I'd just start messing with her and playfully wrestling her and tickling her just to see her feet, because I knew she hated it. Then I'd take out my phone and start snapping pictures of her feet, which I deleted right away. But I just would do this because she hated it. After a while, she got comfortable enough about it.

Unharmful turn ons shouldn't be denigrated by those that don't happen to share the same ones and most certainly, comments shouldn't be made to imply that those that do have others than yours are somehow weird or strange.
