OP, we could really use some more information to help us understand the situation. Could you answer a few questions?

OP?

Keep in mind you don't just marry some one - you marry their entire family.

You want to marry into this?

Your BF sounds like a spineless, immature little boy. Online video games 2 1/2 hours a clip three days out of the week...

If his GPA isn't a 4.0 he has no business clowning around with video games.

Plus the mommy issues - good grief: no thanks, no way, cya later Norman Bates.

Maybe promise rings given to the GF by the "man's" mother is something Asian.

BTW, the only time that I have heard about "promise rings" recently was when high school students told me that their BF had given them a promise (pre-engagement or going steady) ring.

Or, when I read about fathers giving their middle school daughters "promise rings" where the girls promised to keep their virginity until their wedding night. (shudder, shudder)

Frankly, both types of rings give me the creeps.

How's the dog handling all this, the big guy or gal is sensitive and might have anxiety from all this stress. Take your dog to the park and play some fetch and feel loved and appreciated.
