I met a guy last night. I thought it went well, but maybe it didn't. He didn't text me when he got home, and also didn't text me today and it's already afternoon. Should I assume that I won't receive a text.
I thought he really liked me but ended with saying "it was really nice meeting you." I guess that was the kiss of death, yikes. I could have sworn there was a lot of chemistry.

I can wait up to three days to text a woman after a date if I'm interested.

Typically within hours if they're really into you. Some people operate slower though could be several reasons we'll never know

We'll set something up before we leave the first date. (very interested)

If we don't do that then maybe text the next day to get in touch. (interested)

If we wait for your text and respond the same day. (mildly interested)

If we neither text you nor respond to you. (next!)

I usually ask the lady to text me after the date (if she's going home) to let me know she's home safely. And no, it's not a manipulation or control "trick"....just old school gentleman, common courtesy. So in that case about an hour.

Then, if I'm inclined to continue with her, I'll usually text within a day or 2 to say hello or whatever.

Depends on when the date ended. Ill hit you up that evening or night if it was a early date or defintely midmorning the next. If I like you, you're gonna know. I don't play games like the waiting game or number of dates sex game.
