It's acceptable for women to use all manner of sex toys, why not men?

No.

Don't care.

Did anyone say that?

It's not the use of sexual aids, it's the idea that human beings can be replaced by them that's at issue here.

I haven't seen that point being made here.

Female sexual aides and wide ranging paraphernalia are big business and culturally acceptable. Male ones should be too.

The title of the thread seems to say it all.

I read it as meaning more in the context of competition than replacement. Men biologically desire sex.

Competition vs. replacement?

Same issue.

I'm not worried about a guy who would prefer to get his sexual jollies from a robot. There would be no competition, because a guy like that would be entirely incompatible with me from the get-go.

Yeah, it's that weird internet idea that the only leverage women have over men is sex, and if men can go elsewhere to meet their needs, whatever shall we do?

Yeah, the clear implication is that women, with their silly ideas and needs and all, will whither under the "competition" from sex dolls and mend their ways.

Only in the same way porn might be viewed as competition.

'prefer' I agree with you, but if a guy wants to use a robot then it's no different than a woman using a sex toy.
