If you have a lot of partners or you get dumped a lot do you find it hard to bond to someone of the opposite sex?

Nope.
Take time to heal between each relationship.
Use the time that you are single for hobbies and spiritual growth
Be honest about the mistakes you made in each relationship.
Forgive yourself and forgive the other person for whatever wrongdoings that occurred

Get ready for the next adventure(relationship)
You should have no trouble giving someone else a fair chance

I can only speak for myself. The pain from each breakup I experienced was intense, like my world had ended. But it was always short-lived. In some cases, I may have learned something about myself, but only as I grew older. Someone new always came along. It took a long, long time to find the perfect fit.

I take every relationship as their own.
Every bond I experience is As different to one another as the people they involve.

Right, and you shouldn't emotionally punish the next person for something the last person did.

It's difficult for me to trust anyone.

Romantic relationship or not.
