Indeed, which is why we have a blanket for the sofa. Lots of sex gets started while watching TV. And we picked the carpeting to minimize rug burn risks (true story). But thanks for the link - one never knows when a new idea may take hold. We don't have a chandelier, though, and as the article says, the roof isn't safe (neither is the edge of a canyon, but we've done that).
The one who likes the colder temp wins, the other puts on more blankets/clothes.

It's nice to sleep in a cold room but the rest of the time I like it warmer. As a result, I don't spend as much time with him when the AC is running full blast.

If it's truly mostly at night, that IS solvable with a toasty comforter on your bed.
I'm curious, though, whether one of you is really out of the "norm". What temperature would you prefer, and what temperature would she? Consistently living in a temperature that's not comfortable for you can be pretty miserable, on both ends.
