If you say so. Two salient questions: Would she realistically date me, and can I divorce my feelings from her enough to be around her and not feel awkward or hurt? If the answer is a No to both, I distance myself.
How could I possibly know the answer to the first I’m not in her head..that’s what she claims man’s a friend who talked to her believes she would if not for the circumstances..who knows..
The last part not yet in terms of seeing her with some one else..that would hurt

How could you know? Ask her out when she’s single.

She’s been single for awhile till recently.. my point is she’s saying her ex being in my social circle is the reason she cant date me..I have no way to prove wheter that’s the truth or not

Being a degree closer to her ex is worse than being a degree closer to a drug dealer? I don’t buy it. I think you know the answer but are afraid to admit it.
Shes my friend and she’s made out with me a few times after last you heard so I don’t think you’re up to date on the situation..But I just don’t want to make it seem like it’s relationship or bust with her but at the same time it would hurt me to see her with other dudes..

She claims she didn’t know he as a drug dealer at first lol.. but I do see her point in that it would be awkward for her to go back to the same social circle that she thinks shunned her

A friend??
She's a user. And you've witnessed her making tons of bad decisions over the years. She's selfish. Why can't you understand that?
If it hurts you to see anything, it's your own fault. You've had the hots for her for so long, and she knows it but she doesn't want anything with you, but you willingly keep yourself in this purgatory by continuing to orbit her.
You're doing this to yourself. Stand up for yourself for once.

I’ve never got the “hots” for her till the past year..and she’s made it clear a lot that we’re just friends other then the making out thing so why should I get her out of my life just because she doesn’t want to be with me?
Isn’t that selfish on my part?
