It seems most posts that complain about the dating scene and lack of dates come from men..Do you think Men just complain more then women or have things changed in the dating scene especially with old and social media that has given women more options and made them more shallow and picky then before?
Probably more equal, but I think that it's less socially acceptable for men to be complaining about the dating market than women. Women tend to have better emotional support networks with other women...sisters, mothers, friends. Guys who complain to their buddies about dating troubles...sounds like it wouldn't be very "manly."
So, I think guys turn to the internet to vent more than women do.
I think some people are do-ers who make the most out of whatever their lot is in life, while other people waste their lives doing nothing but whining and complaining and changing nothing.

Or is the truth somewhere in the middle?
I think men are more likely to be banned, make up new user names, and post again, therefore inflating the perception that men complain more.
There are other social factors as well that probably makes the perception more.
In all fairness, this particular website is not an accurate nor statistically sound sample size from which to draw that conclusion. I think if you asked whether among the people who frequent this specific forum the boys complain more than the girls, you could draw a conclusion solely on this population right here. But speaking overall in the real world offline? I don't think we can make an accurate assumption.
