There was a time I believe when the woman would stay home take care of the house and kids, while the man would work and bring home the bacon.

I believe this lady is traditional/ old fashion in that sense along with her family.

That's fine but I believe living that kind of lifestyle in California is long gone.

Some couples can pull it off just not many.

Nobody I have dated has asked me my salary. It's mostly whether or not someone is J-O-B positive. People do, however, positively select those who are part of unions.

Why would being a part of a union be positive in a dating partner? But ita about job positive, or ambition, success & intelligence......
