I like shy, awkward effeminate men. I often wonder where they're all hiding. I know such men are often shamed for failing to live up to the masculine stereotype, but I find it attractive. They're just impossible to find on dating sites.

Its not "manly" to go around broadcasting that you're not "manly". I doubt someone would write it in their dating profile, you just have to keep meeting ones and taking them to sad movies.

Define effeminate. What does that look like to you?

OP-If you're serious here is one way to boost your chances.

Modify your on line dating profile.

And your new headline is...…."I like shy, awkward effeminate men"

Why not just cut to the chase? I bet you get plenty nibbles. Good luck to you.

They're "hiding" in gay bars and gay dating sites.

Have you tried hunting them in the wild? They must be around.

I think the world is full of them. I see them all of the time.

As mentioned define it a little better and from a guys point of view if you're doing the OLD thing figure out a way to get that sort of idea or description across without saying it directly.

I think even effeminate men still have a sense of "masculinity" about themselves on some level.

In other words work at a way to reel them in without offending them. Maybe use words like "mellow" and "laid back" or even saying things like not looking for the meathead jock types etc etc.
