You're only hearing what you want.

Read between the lines.

I'm sorry.

No, and why would you want to.

1) Most likely she is just not that into you.

2) If she "REALLYYYYY" was all about her career, then why the date?

3) Maybe she just wants a roll in the hay. But again, why the date and why not be up front about that? [Most] men would be down for a benefit kind of thing

No. You respect her wishes. If she were here, I would advise her to strongly consider running like hell from that attitude. Agency violations are a comin'.

I would imagine its because the OP is conflicted based on the fact that she "thinks" he is the right guy.

I really wish people didn't send these contradictory messages. I think the part where she says she cant commit to anyone except herself and her career would be plenty of a reason. No need to make it any more complicated, unless of course that was done for some weird narcissistic kicks...

You cannot make someone feel a certain type of way about you. No matter how nice you are, how much you have to offer, or how much you may or may not have in common with that person.

Hollywood has planted a lot of misconceptions in our heads about being able to just sweep someone off their feet or if you try hard enough you will get the girl. In the real world, it does not quite work like that.
