I hate when people try to set me up or match me with someone, so I wouldn't do it to anyone else. They met at a party and had a conversation. If he wanted to....he would have. I'd tell my friend to quit being thirsty or take matters into her own hands.
I’m still wondering why someone goes to a party where the person they just broke up with will be attending. Not too festive.
You didn’t ask your husband what he thinks, since it’s his friend too? He might’ve had some good advice.

Tho they had an amicable breakup & it was a big party. They were both there for my husband & other friends, not for one another. They knew they didn’t have to be near each other or talk to the same ppl at all…but they did a little because they have a lot of mutual friends that were there. They are both professional adults. They aren’t the type to cause drama. My husband & I are not picking sides or anything like that. They were both welcome & I’m happy both of them showed up. It was a fun party.

Yes ofc. But it doesn’t matter what we think now anyway.
yoo pretty much contradict yorself:she shoodve asked for his number. its the 90's, wombmen arr supposed to be liberated.
At the end of a very pleasant social gathering, I asked a guy who I met if he wanted my phone number and he said yes. (Of course I put the burden on him to call me.) He has been my husband for forty years. This was the '80's.
