I am well aware of it being bad Im not denying it I take all the blame I just need help
Help doing what? If you want more self confidence, set out goals and accomplish them. If you want dates, you need to ask people out. If you want friends, you need to meet people and be a friend. These things have been true since the stone age. There is no science. No one can do it for you. Just go do it!
Talk therapy really can be helpful. I went thru it back many years ago after having left qn abusive relationship. It helped me immensely. I hope that it will help you.
Groups can also be helpful. It sounds like you may have a bit of social anxiety.....Your therapist will better be able to help you decide what's going on with you...But don't be afraid of groups...I personally gained a lot from participating in a co-dependency group.
Also, I found volunteering to be a great benefit for myself....I was also a bit shy and had low self esteem. I found that when I helped others I lost my fear of being social....and it helped build my own self esteem interacting with ppl that were grateful for my help. And its also a good way to meet ppl that have similar interests.....Look for opportunity's to volunteer in your area of interest.
Good luck to you. And please up this thread if you find success
I always wonder if people should be getting referrals to mental health support groups when they post things like this.
There’s nothing wrong with a bit of therapy. A few sessions can get you out of your rut or assure you that you’re essentially fine. They often assign homework, directed reading, and meditation. If there’s something big, most can help you there, too.
For many folks it’s essential to a healthy relationship.
