I was wondering about people's various talents skills, etc. My SO and her family have alot of artistic tendencies. My SO's dad paints like a pro, my SO can draw very well same with her brothers. People seem to have a lot of things that they are good at. I was noticing some of the great writing skills demonstrated in the thread the SifuPhil started with the never ending story.

It seems like everybody has something. I'm kinda of noted for being the comedian, although I think they lowered the bar if you know what I mean.

Anyway who has the great skills in your family/friends.

I have a sister who sings, and draws... or at least she used to.
My other sister can draw too.
Lets see....what can I do? (scratches head) I`ll have to think about that one. LOL

In my family I'm the "funny one." I don't know if I'd consider that a talent, though. Maybe it is; I don't know.

I've always been considered the "funny" one in my family, also.

...despite the valiant efforts of a team of psychologists.

Yes being the "funny" one is a subjective term. It's all relative.

I'm alway the funny one especially in a funeral home. LOL

My husband says that I can put down what he says....but...... I don`t think it would be a good idea, on a public forum and all...(rolleyes) so I will say, my skill is to take care of the elderly people.

I'm a decent musician and also have a somewhat natural talent when it would come to standup or comedy writing.

Guess some people must have more than their fair share as they haven't left anything for the rest of us. No, unfortunately no special talents... if you don't count the ability to keep a job and typing away on a forum both full-time , but that one is quite common. I've also a real talent for messing up my life, too. If you need any help in this department, let me know.

On a more serious note, I've been meaning to start making some abstract paintings, collages, etc., but can't seem to get in the right mood for that because these activities are related to a bigger picture of an old dream. Looks like after it's been broken a few times it might be impossible to revive it...

I think you have lots of wisdom and good common sense, Sierra. Today, those are talents in themselves.
