I am very happy all of a sudden, actually , ugh, what's the word to looking for forward to something?, about a youtube vid I just found after just getting home from work.
It deals with using triads in soloing. I always felt that I was limited in my improvising skill using "block scale patterns" and certain licks, mostly going up and down the fret board but never much across.
Once I get what I just saw on the vid down (it was like a ding! Oh ok! when I saw it) it is going to greatly expand my soloing/improvising capabilities.
