What type of grass do you have in TN? Kentucky bluegrass? I have Bermudagrass and the drought's been killing it. Last year when we had all that rain, it was pretty green.
To be honest I don't know what it is, last year it was dry here and it turned brown in spots, I thought about painting it green...lol

I think of it as survival of the fittest. The lawn needs to learn to dig deep and go down. That obviously worked for your lawn and hopefully mine will look HGTV worthy like yours by next year.
I moved all the vehicles and pressure washed the driveway early, now I have to hit the rear deck and get all the green funk off where the trees are. It was so nice out, didn't even work up a sweat.
Wow, so much nice grass, Rcm! Me, desert dweller, always admires grass. It must be a pain in the rear to keep it so perfect, though, which is why I'm getting soon my lil' patch of fake grass. Gets hot in summer, but oh well...
Sierra I like the looks of the desert too, one sister in Vegas, I have a standing offer to come visit but haven't taken her up on it yet. Every time I think of visiting its around 112 degrees and all I can picture is Vegas Vacation...lol
I would like to go to the "Pick A Number" casino though
