The one I held today was a little black pug. They kind of look like they were chasing parked cars.
Normally, I don't ever buy an animal, too many strays and unwanted babies out there. But I confess, one day (if I can ever afford one) I'll probably buy the pug.
LOL, did we... or did you replenish your chocolate supplies?
I'm not in pain yet, so so far so good...
Actually, I did replenish my supply this afternoon...how'd you know??
I am glad you are not in pain! If you wrap cloves in cheesecloth and keep it over the tooth/gum that hurts it will help tremendously. This is what oral surgeons use when sockets dry up after wisdom teeth are pulled. You might smell like a beatnik at a poetry reading, but you'll feel better

Thanks. I was reading about clove oil, but I don't have it. So, cloves work, too? I might have some... But then again, I've got a much sought after drug!
I don't know... I guess some residual pain is to be expected, but pain getting worse after work being done doesn't sound right... The thought of paying for a root canal also after paying for the onlay was giving me the creeps, but at least I was reassured if it comes to that they'll just remove the crown, drill, and replace it at no additional charge.

Sometimes health insurance, if you do not have dental, will pay for a root canal...at least this what my dentist BIL said... I hate paying for things like that as well. I want whatever I buy to be pretty to look at, like jewelry, clothes or furniture...It's like spending money on car repairs

I do have dental. It covers root canal at 80% and the specialist I called first quoted me about $1,100 out-of-pocket! Can you believe this?! That's highway robbery! Then again, as a doc's wife you might feel differently...

Same here. That and spending money on rubber and tin drives me nuts as well!

That sounds terribly steep...have you shopped the price around? Are you seeing an oral surgeon or a dentist? Jeez, for that price, I hope you are getting general anesthesia and a hot doc!
