...with my wife. Alone. Just the two of us. So we're driving on our way to the restaurant we were going to have dinner and all of a sudden she tells me: "Hey, listen to that. Can you hear it?" I was like, concerned. Thinking it was a noise the car was making but I was unable to hear. So again she tells me: "Can you hear it? Just listen carefully and you'll hear it". So I tried to listen but still nothing. I tell her I can't hear a thing then she tells me: "Exactly, NO KIDS in the car. Don't you love that sound?"
She really got me good on that one.
LOL -- You'll never appreciate alone time quite like when you do having a night out away from the kids!
Some friend of mine have 4 boys - 1 5yr old, 1 3yr old (SCREAMER), and TWIN 1yr olds. Never a dull moment at their place! And yes... nap time is golden!
Yep. Kids make you really understand the importance of free time.
The other day, we saw some old friends of ours who had elected to remain childless. She actually said, "Gosh, we'd love to have you over. But we just can't seem to manage to get the house clean." Seriously, I can clean the house--stem to stern--in about two hours if I get the chimps involved.
Nowadays, two hours of free time when clients and children don't need me is like a freaking vacation.
I take it our wonderful influence is responsible for that! You’re welcome!
Reading singles' stories can definitely strengthen any marriage...
