Don't do it! Go local, as there are far too many a-holes out there who prey on people online.

Hells Bells! Wading through the Losers in person is bad enough. There are so many phoneys out there on the 'net that prey on the naive.

But my granddaughter is marrying the man she met on the internet. It's a match made in cyberspace. So I guess it does work sometimes.

And yesterday, East met West. Lovely Pennsylvania girl married adoring, and adorable, California boy. Actually, woman meets man on computer screen and it's love at first byte. (Sorry)

It was a lovely wedding and a great party. That's how we all started out, isn't it?

My eldest grandchild is now a Missus. Her dad, (my son) performed the hand 'er over walk with nary a tear, but a big lump in the throat. Her mother performed equally well and there were no audible sobs.

So congratulations to them and all the couples, internet or not, who have committed to one another for all time. Please, prove to all the nay-sayers that it does work.
