Just a couple quick questions for the guys out there. Do you like it when a woman is independent? she has a job, a car, a home, dresses nice, carries herself with style and class? She travels by herself?
Do you feel intimidated? Do you think it's attractive and you want to get to know her better?
Do you feel "oh she doesn't need a man", etc, etc?

Just curious! Thanks!

Those are things that every adult should have. If a person does not have a job, car, place to live, no sense of style, acts foolish (i.e., like a Rock of Love or Flavor of Love girl) then they are not attractive.

Why on earth would anyone not want someone who has a job, car, home, style, class and is well traveled?

Very much so...problem is they are hard to find. Many say they are independent, but Dad is still a phone call away. Yes I would ask her out for coffee or something.

Some guys like to simply feel "doted" on by a girl..... and lets her be a Stay at home mom..... and spend all his money

Okay so.......my daddy is a phone call away.....if I need him....but I still consider myself independent......how does having people you care about in your life make you dependent???

I agree...much better than a woman who graduates HS, then holds down a PT job as a waitress or at the grocery store until her knight comes along so she can graduate to a SAHM after marriage or whatever.

I guess if a man wanted kids, and a FT babysitter he could trust, he could wed a young lady, knock her up, keep her in the house.

But personally I want someone who can match me, be equal and we can experience our definition of "life"....Traveleing, experiences, financially fit...happy.

well, I just wondered if some men felt intimidated, meaning they don't want to get to know her because she is independent and can take of herself.

I think the only men who would be intimidated are the ones who have low (or NO) self esteem and have their own mental issues to deal with. I would also think that guys like this would be and instant turnoff to women with at least half a brain.
