It's funny. Chill, folks. It's just plain funny. I believe in affirmative action "rag on everybody." That was the fun part of growing up in SoCal...we all teased each other about our immigrant or minority parents in a "tongue and cheek" way and were all irrevocably good friends.

And, as a white person, I find it hilarious when Eddie Murphy imitates a white guy. He does it fairly well.

Would you still find it funny if a White stand up comedian imitated a Black guy ? Especially if he was imitating a straight out of the hood ghetto Black guy ? Or would you consider that to be racist ?

A lot of black humor comes from the buroughs where they were brought up. As you can see, humor is somewhat bleak in that it denotes some truth. The truth is that segregation put blacks in those ghettos. No, that wouldn't be funny. Not between those two. As long as places like Compton still exist it woulnd't be funny. It's like a German comedian making fun of Jews...

No problem, but that wouldn't fly, now would it? Lisa Lampanelli does it, but she's an overweight middle-aged white female comic. However, a HWP 32 y.o. white guy comic couldn't get away with it. The double standard sucks, doesn't it?

I like smart science fiction shows, like the X-Files, Battlestar Gallactica, Charlie Jade, etc.

I miss the x-files. It was good up until Molar or soemthing(the lead character) kept on getting deeper and deeper into UFO's.

Excuse me. Why did you put the banana in the tailpipe?

Ha. I think it went like this:

"Is this the man that wrecked the buffet?"

"Is this the man that disabled an unmarked unit with a banana?"*

*probably one of the funniest lines in film...

Along with:

"...Herpes Simplex 12, before things start fallin' off on the man."

"It's not sexy, it's animal."

"Trading Places" was his next best flick, with a whole slew of great lines.
